Relaxation for PWD candidates-Probably one of the best policies that allow for the recruiting and hiring of PwD candidates in eligible positions is the PwD allocation quota in government jobs. Persons with disabilities are eligible for 3% of all openings in government employment in Groups A, B, C, and D that are to be filled through directive recruitment under this policy. The Ministry of Social Justice selects the positions that are eligible for PwD candidates and may be subject to a reservation policy.
Provision of Compensatory time and Assistance of Scribe -Government offers special facilities for those candidates who are Visually Impaired (blind/low vision) or Orthopedically Handicapped may hire a scribe at their own expense during the online examination, according to Government of India guidelines. According to government guidelines only those candidates with a disability of 40% or more, as well as those with physical restrictions to write, including speed, are eligible for the scribe service.
Nationality/Citizenship-In this section there are the details of the citizenship criteria because in some government exams other country candidates are also eligible so for that there are some terms and conditions given in this section.
Only applicants who are visually impaired (blind/low vision) will be given a compensation time of 20 minutes per hour of the examination, regardless of whether they need a scribe.
